The EMS Vocoder 2000

The 2000 is a16 band vocoder featuring a 'freeze' function and voltage
controlled slew rate. Filters have a 30dB/octave roll-off. A 'pause
stuffing' function allows any gaps in either input signal to be filled
by the other signal. Also included is a 'voiced/unvoiced' detector
producing either filtered noise or high frequency boost for sibilant 'S'
sounds. Housed in a 2U rack, silver with VU meter in early models and
later black with twin LED meters. |
